Thirty Days of Giving!

Our Church is doing a massive Outreach project this month called “Thirty Days of Thanks”. We all volunteer, work, and or go to school so the extended volunteer hours are limited.

We decided to buy a Thanksgiving dinner for a family in Charlotte. The list of canned goods and boxed goods just makes me sad. I want to bring the family some home cooked food. Ok, I would also love to help them with their table setting.

Providing Thanksgiving meals to families in need

volunteer opportunity:

• Drop off a pre-assembled Thanksgiving dinner that will be distributed to families in need in our community. Each bag should contain:

1. Rolls
2. Canned peas
3. Canned corn
4. Canned cranberry sauce 1.5
5. Boxed stuffing
6. Boxed potatoes
7. Canned gravy
8. Pumpkin Pie
9. $15 gift card to Food Lion or BiLo for a family to use for their Thanksgiving turkey
