So all of us grew up in the midwest. The four of us were all baptized as babies. You dress your adorable baby in a christening gown, have everyone back to you home afterwards and celebrate. The baptism involves the minister putting a dab of water on your babies head. We had both of our sons baptized on Mother’s Day.
For my midwest followers I thought you would enjoy this video. Both of our sons are working all weekend for Elevation Church. They will be doing full emersion baptisms all weekend. They fly under the radar of Southern Baptist. It’s hard for us to grasp but pretty amazing to see. None of us have done this BTW. We are still comfortable with our Presbyterian roots.
